Dr. Tina Gallion uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patients' lives- whether they are experiencing pain, noticing loss of motion, or just want to start feeling better throughout the day. Dr. Tina takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.
Many seemingly unrelated issues may arise from imbalances in nervous system function, and with the use of movement assessments and thorough examinations, Dr. Tina will determine the reason for the symptom and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Dr. Tina has taken care of patients in all transitions of life; from conception and birth to adulthood and healthy aging. She has additional training in spinal correction, functional rehab including the principles of BirthFit prenatal and postpartum care, Webster Certification, and specific pediatric care.
Dr. Tina began her chiropractic experience at a very young age, as a crabby baby, in fact. After just a few adjustments, symptoms cleared, and Dr. Tina's family began to see chiropractic as more than just a way of eliminating symptoms- but rather a method of allowing the body to heal, develop, and function the way it was designed! Throughout involvement in sports, Dr. Tina noticed a leg up on her competition because of healthy lifestyle choices and chiropractic treatments. It soon became clear that chiropractic and physical health was meant to be the foundation of Dr. Tina's life forever. Now with a very active family of her own, Dr. Tina is even more passionate about the benefits of lifelong chiropractic care!
After attending The University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, Dr. Tina attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN for her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Throughout school, she was involved in many clubs and organizations which all allowed her to deepen her love of the true healing ability of the body. Upon graduation, Dr. Tina practiced for several years in Missouri before returning home to Iowa. She is proud and excited to be joining the MYO team to offer the Corridor the best possible care.
